About Us

Owned and operated by a brother and sister team, Scott and Angie Taylor, the majestic Trustee is the result of long years in the hospitality industry.

Angie has a PhD in paediatric immunology and is a winner of the 40 Under 40 Awards.  She was also a finalist in the Telstra Business Woman of the Year Awards 2013.

Scott is a wine columnist and educator… which basically means he has spent his years with his nose in a glass instead of in a book like his sister.

The two are also responsible for the iconic 'The Shorehouse' by the beach in Swanbourne, the ‘Beaufort Local’ in Highgate,  'Enrique's School for to Bullfighting', next door to the Local in on Beaufort Street.

They owe all their business successes to Lee Taylor - their Mother, Mentor and Matriarch.

Also involved in the businesses are Dr Dru Daniels and Richard Rosman. They are silent(ish) partners, who are both successful in their respective industries.

The four partners are very proud to come together to conceive and execute these fine businesses.

The Trustee Bar and Bistro supports responsible service of alcohol.  Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase liquor on licensed or regulated premises.
